Bookbird, in response to our quest for the perfect Maoist Orange Cake image, suggested the one above. I agree with her, it looks very much like the real thing. So I'm tossing it up here in a brief post, to see how it affects the vote.
Welcome to Maoist Orange Cake. Each week one of our Divas posts a thoughtful (but not necessarily serious) essay on whatever calls forth her Voice or strikes her Fancy. We invite you to join us wherever the discussion leads.

The Twelfth Carnival of Radical Feminists is up at The Burning Times blog and mentions one of our posts, Helen 'Wheels' Keller, for recommendation. Orangeists spreading our zest!

It looks good-I like it
me too.
I'm hungry
YES YES YES!
I haven't actually counted votes, but my suggestion is that we rotate the following pix on a monthly basis:
1. Dark Horse
2. Little Girls
3. Original Cake
4. Cake #4 (maybe)
5. Scientist Babe, just because she's so hot (but see if someone can turn all those pinks into oranges on Photoshop)
Eventually, however, we MUST get a good photo of a genuine Maoist Orange Cake, baked by one of us. I know it's difficult, but the Revolution deserves our all. Maybe I can persuade my mom to help me bake one over Thanksgiving weekend.

I could probably bake this weekend....
If so, I'll take a pic and contribute it to the mix.
Work is so boring today, I can't even decribe it. The good news, however, is that the houseguest left this morning!!!! Huzzah!
Not me. I can't eat citrus.
Okay, I'm going to swap out photos for now.
