Kat at her blog BitchCraft created a post introducing the concept of "LolSharks". I was inspired, and used the photo below to continue her tradition.
It can be viewed (and, if you are inspired, altered/improved upon at ICHC Vote Page.
Go for it!
Welcome to Maoist Orange Cake. Each week one of our Divas posts a thoughtful (but not necessarily serious) essay on whatever calls forth her Voice or strikes her Fancy. We invite you to join us wherever the discussion leads.

nommin' your seals! I love it!
maggie I'm jealous. just needed to get that out. your lolshark is better than mine!
Maggie (and Kat), you've done it again. This is the most hilolarious thing I've seen in a while!
Well, in the interests of disclosure, the photo I used for my LOLShark (™ Kat) is a fake, an internet hoax that got passed around a couple of years ago and even won some kind of mention from National Geographic before it was debunked. (Sorta like yellow cake uranium from Niger...) Anyhow, I ran across it way back when I was looking for images I could manipulate to illustrate my sci-fi novel Skene, which has monsters in the ocean. I remembered it when I saw Kat's idea.
I really hope this takes off. I find LOLSharkz (™ Kat) much more entertaining than the Lolrus thang.
yeah, I don't really get the "bukit" jokes.....
sharks, however, are always hysterical.
I tried to convince my dentist of this, the other morning as I was playing with the models of teeth (making the model "bite" while saying "Nom Nom Nom") while mine were being checked, but I don't think he got it.....
Ur LOLz iz teh ossim!!!
